The V3 Glider Launcher meets all restrictions for 2026/2027 Science Olympiad Elastic Launched Glider Division B competition. This precision launcher holds the glider securely in place, allowing students to concentrate their efforts on launching the glider at the exact pitch and bank angles and at an exact aiming point for repeatable flight-after-flight scores.

For Super Protege 2026/7, you will need, at minimum, 1/8″ rubber. We are using 3/16″ rubber due to the large size of these models.

Due to oversized shipping costs, this kit does NOT contain the yardstick that forms the mounting surface for the components. You will need to supply a wooden yardstick from the hardware store. Alternatively we do supply yardsticks on an oversized shipping basis.

Warning: non-J&H Aerospace ELG gliders will require a carbon bumper made from a 1 inch piece of  0.020 carbon rod to be added to maintain correct alignment on the launcher and avoid damage to the tail surfaces.
