Description

Specifications: 18″ span, 20″ long, 12″ propeller, airframe weight 3.0-3.5g, 3/32″ rubber power.

Pennyplane has long been regarded as the best way to get started in indoor endurance competition. Unfortunately no competition-oriented LPP kits have been available for several years now. The Noncents has been created to fill that gap.

Noncents is the flagship of J&H Aerospace’s Pro Series of state-of-the-art indoor free flight competition kits. It is the finest kit ever offered for the AMA Limited Penny Plane contest category, featuring hand selected wood, carbon fiber wing spars and posts, assembly jigs, a 14×20 prop forming block, lightweight plastic covering film, and preformed wire parts. Built with care it is capable of challenging the highest levels of competition–current best times are 7:45 under a 23 foot ceiling and 11:35 under a 100 foot ceiling.

Includes materials sufficient to build three models; includes enough 3/32″ Tan Supersport rubber for 5-10 rubber motors.

Tools/materials required: rubber lubricant (son of a gun works great), winder, needle nose pliers/wire cutters, CA glue (or Duco/Ambroid/Sigment), 3M-77 spray adhesive, vaseline, razor blades, sandpaper, ruler, and scissors.

Optional: Torque meter, turns counter (freedomflightmodels.com), digital scale.

Please note that you should not select this as your very first indoor airplane as it is very lightly built. You should select a Mountain Lion from lasercutplanes.com or our popular Pinna Flyer to get started in indoor.

I have to say it. All of the Pro Series kits are the best kits ever assembled! There is so much room for modifications and making your own designs that 5 stars comes naturally. Part of me is even considering making a canard version of this, another is telling me to make one as light as possible. The amount of parts makes it easy to fix a mistake, and the materials are clearly meant for this plane. Thumbs up!
