Marc Cheurlot’s name is synonymous with extreme designs, and his 1938 Wakefield design is no different. Originally designed for return gears, it features the longest known fuselage on an 8 oz Wakefield design–an unprecedented 43 inches long, mated to a wingspan of over 48 inches! A generous 17.7 inch prop rounds this out as a superb large rubber model. Our testing revealed this model to feature an incredibly low sink rate, excellent stability in both climb and glide, and beautiful floating characteristics in each.

This short kit features all ribs, formers, and hard points as well as the tapered tip spars for the wing and stab. Plans are sold separately!
