NJAPF (Not Just Another Pretty Face) is an easily built first competition or sport model, legal for P-30 class competition flying. The name was inspired by the simple, square outlines.
This airplane was designed by the late Al Lidberg who spent over a decade developing it for use with young people and first time competitors. NJAPF earned a reputation as a sleeper contest model–its simple looks hide the heart of a true competition model.
Updated from the original design for 21st century manufacturing and building, the full kit features full laser cut parts (including pre-cut uprights, self jigging/aligning longerons, and pregussetted/prenotched leading and trailing edges), balsa strip wood, a complete hardware pack: (9.5 ” plastic prop, prop shaft, plastic bearing, aluminum tubes for the rear rubber peg and the fuze snuffer, wire for hooks, and enough rubber for a 10 gram rubber motor), and enough domestic tissue for a simple covering job. There’s everything you’ll need except dope, pins and tools to build and fly this model.
