Super Protege returns for 2027 as the ultimate Elastic Launched Glider! This new version has been updated for truly incredible performance while complying fully with the 2026/2027 Science Olympiad Elastic Launched Glider Division B rules.
The wing flaps and tail use precision cut Vector Board foam which is incredibly durable and can easily be formed to the desired camber. The wing outline has been modified to further improve transition from climb to glide while maximizing aerodynamic efficiency. The lightweight flying surfaces allow a very long fuselage for improved pitch stability and snappy transitions. A reliable removable wing option makes transportation via air travel much easier.
This kit is capable of 30 second flights in a typical gymnasium.
Standard CA glue is used in the construction of this glider. Accelerator is strongly recommened.
Kit includes basic catapult and enough parts to build two gliders.
