Description

Flip Flop FAI is a 13mm version of our Micromaxx powered Flip Flop designed for FAI S4A competition. It is able to fly reliably with Estes A3-2T and A10-3T engines or A3-4T engines when running on a piston and tower launcher.

This model runs a burn string as per standard S4A practice, and the string locks into the dihedral joint to fully constrain it on boost

Fittings are provided for a BMK band burner dethermalizer powered by a 40mAh lipo. You will need a quality 40mAh battery to reliably burn the dental bands.

This model uses doubled doculam hinges on the wings and tail to ensure exact wing folding and dethermalizer deployment over long periods of usage. A covering iron is required.
